This adapter is designed to adapt from metal female pipe threads to PEX, copper, or CPVC tubing. Install on the cold water side ONLY of a hot and cold water supply system. Where hot or changing temperatures are likely to occur, use a short metal nipple in conjunction with a Genova Universal Fitting Special Female Adapter.
